As an insatiable seeker of inspiration, I've cultivated a relentless passion for exploring the world around me, fueled by decades of experience in the design industry and the the continued desire to stay fresh, relevant and in the know. Even as the industry evolves, my unwavering curiosity and thirst for knowledge remain steadfast. Whether I'm exploring new lands or simply observing the world from my current surroundings, I am constantly on the hunt for cultural events, enlightening literature, and captivating experiences.

Seeing: Exhibitions

REFIK ANADOL at Jeffrey Deitch Gallery, Los Angeles

The exhibition at the Deitch gallery in LA showcases the complete series of Anadol’s major artworks, including his latest AI Data Paintings that are based on California-related datasets. This was so incredible to see, I had to go twice.

INDOEK presents: FOUND , Ventura, CA

“The FOUND exhibit at Indoek in Ventura California is a collection of works by Jim Olarte, Mark Cunningham, and Cooper Root using materials combed from the shores and coves of Southern California to the reefs of the Hawaiian islands.”

Subtle Intimacies Rui Sasaki at the Portland Japanese Gardens, Portland, Oregon.

“Sasaki, who works primarily in glass, is known for her meticulous studies of the environment around her. Her work contemplates the stories of people and places and how encounters with plants and the weather can evoke a sense of intimacy and familiarity even in a foreign place. Sasaki aims to create immersive and multi-sensory experiences through her glass art installations that invite viewers to explore their own relationship with the natural world.”
